What Happens to the Items I Mail Back?

First off, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all those who have been using and continuously supporting our Homecare Products. As you have been helping us grow, we want to do the same for others and our environment. And we are here, hoping we can encourage you to do the same.

At TripKitt, we value not just your support of our business, but we also put great value in our community. And with your continuous help, we get to give back. How does this work?

At the end of your trip, we recommend that you take any unused products home (they are ultra-portable!!!).  You can save these items for your next trip or you can just simply use them in your own home.  We recommend that you recycle the various 2 oz. bottles that came with your 'kitt' as a way to help our environment.  We understand; however, that there may be times when you would not want to take unused products home or that it may be too inconvenient to recycle.  For such occasions, we've included a pre-paid return shipping label (as well as a small biodegradable sticker as tape) with each kitt.  Just throw everything that you do not want to take home (or recycle) into your original TripKitt box.  Place the pre-paid return label over the original label (we used to send the TripKitt to you), tape the box with the biodegradable sticker, and send the kitt back to us.

Once we received your package, we will carefully inspect its contents.  Damaged products (even minor) including used bottles will be recycled.  Unblemished bottles will be clean, sanitized, and reused.  For those products without damage, we will match on a one-to-one basis and will donate to local charities that can make use of our products.  

As a thank you, we will send you a 20% coupon for your next TripKitt purchase.  This way, your act of thoughtfulness will benefit everyone involved.

Creating Sustainability

We created our cleaning kit to provide users with just the right amount of cleaning supplies. Our goal is to drastically reduce the waste being generated on a daily basis. Because we send you just enough product, there is very little chance of any excess that often goes to waste. Our advocacy is also to promote and select US-made cleaning items that are 100% eco-friendly. We want you and your loved ones to be safe from common toxins found in commercial cleaning products. More importantly, we want to do our part in helping the environment heal.

Social Responsibility

To further our efforts, we have extended our social responsibility through our TripKitt cleaning kit donation system. How does this work? As much as possible, we want all TripKitt users to use up everything we sent. But if you don’t and there's still a bit leftover, we simply ask that you send it back to us. We provide a prepaid label that can easily be affixed to our TripKitt mailer boxes. That’s right; you can send leftovers at no extra cost! So, don’t throw the box out just yet! Your product returns are carefully inspected before being donated to those in need. Whatever you send us, we match it, one for one, and to show our thanks, we send out a 20% coupon that can be used on the next purchase.

In keeping with current COVID-19 health and safety protocols, we maintain the strictest hygiene standards. Goods that we are unable to immediately distribute get stored in our climate control facilities. Rest assured our goal is to be able to donate these items to respective organizations. We’ve also made it a point to work hand in hand with them to ensure that all products are distributed properly.

Additionally, at the bottom of every TripKitt box, users can find a QC code. When a consumer scans the code on one of our boxes, it takes you to our donation page. It is our belief that we can all do our part, no matter how big or little it is, so we found our own way to encourage sustainability and charity. Partner with us as we extend our help to others.
